How To Use The Guide

As noted, you don’t have to read the whole Guide, only the sections that are of interest. Each section has been written to stand on its own, although there are sometimes references to other sections in the Guide or resources that may also be relevant. Most sections also contain references to additional related resources.

The last section of the Guide includes Information Resources and Research. Although some of the resources in this last section have been included in previous sections, the resources are valuable and sometimes apply to more than one section.

Finally, if you are a service provider you may wish to use some of the material in the sections in conjunction with existing assessment tools.
